About HHS

History

Built in 1948, Historic Hudson Studios is acknowledged as an ideal destination for significant and creative work in the heart of Hollywood with a rich history that embodies the industrial charm of the early studio era.

Over time, HHS has served as the epicenter of numerous impressive creative endeavors, hosting theaters, dance companies, and film production offices. It has also been a cherished abode for many painters and artists, including the renowned celebrity photographer Herb Ritts, who captured images of icons like David Bowie, Madonna, and Jack Nicholson in his second-floor studio.

Currently, the space has been expanded and it offers a total of seven studios of varying sizes that are open for photo and video production as well as events.
